Civilized Assertiveness for Women!
Communication
with Backbone…not Bite
You
don’t need to be pushy to get what you want…
You don’t need to be a pushover to earn the goodwill of others…
You just need Civilized Assertiveness®!
— Civilized Assertiveness reduces conflict and competitiveness and increases
cooperation and negotiation, all without lowering your
self-esteem or compromising your values.
Author, educational psychologist, and workshop leader, Judith S. McClure,
Ph.D. has taught thousands of women in hundreds of workshops over the
past 20 years. Here’s what her book shows you how to do:
- Take credit for your ideas and work
- Confront conflicts and uncomfortable situations
- Use six ways to say NO
- Set limits with manipulative people
- Cope with toxic competition in the workplace
- Ask for a raise at work and help at home
- Be taken seriously!
